Drama- Games and Skills- week

Kia ora today I am gonna talk about what we have been doing in drama for the past few weeks.

One of the game we done was 16/16. its a game where you have to go in a circle and go 16 steps right and then left. when that's done we go 8 steps right and then left still in the circle. then 4 steps each way, and the 2 steps.

Walk and jump is another game we had to play. in this game you had to walk around the stage, and when the teachers 

Drama- Mask 

Hi today I am going to tell you about what i have been doing in drama.

We have been looking at what our mask showed look like on google.

then we look for a clip of how to make the type off masks.

We saw a video of some people doing some body shapes with mask on.

We have been doing drama for 4 week i think and we have finished our mask and took some photos.

Counting the beat ~ Stomp

       In Hurumanu 2 we done stomp for counting like the beat.

I was in a Group with Arnicka Cayleigh and Teagen. We done the song Heartbeat my Matinus & Martin. What we used for out instruments were the 2 math things that have 4 different colors, a cone and a stick, And some plastic Jelly beans. then we had to practice it outside and it took us a few times but we managed to get it. Then We recorded it in the breakout space and we couldn't keep our serious faces. The plastic jelly beans kept on falling out when i would shake them. Orchestra

In hurumanu we have been learning about counting the beat. so this time its about orchestra.

we learning the different types of instruments  they use such as the woodwind and more.

we all had to quess the sounds of different Instruments by the sound.

Counting the beats ~ The Violin

 Today I'm gonna talk about what we don't in hurumanu 2. We were learning about Violins different sizes and different noises. There's different types of features in violins so such as a sound holes and more. Then we watched a video of people playing violins. They play very good and we watched a music video of this girl playing it and she was super speedy.  So we were seeing the different types of features between a guitar and a Violin. The sound hole between a Guitar and Violin are different. 




 

 

Ukuleles

 In Class we have been Learning about the ukulele. We were learning about different sizes and Different noises they all make. Some are even made different so here are some pictures of Ukulele. Some ukuleles are big as a guitar. Some of then don't need to be made our of wood. We were watching some videos of people playing the ukulele they were real good. 

Here are some glossary words.

1: The Turning heads. Turning heads are supposed to make it sound Better

2: Sound hole. The hole it so make the sound louder cause it bounces from inside.

3:Frets. Frets are supposed to mark where to put your finger while playing a tune.

Athletics Day

Last Thursday was Athletics day and we had to wear Yellow cause I'm in Mohua, what i wore was a yellow tutu, white shirt with Yellow hand prints,

Yellow bows, and Yellow Face paint. I done Social cause I don't really like doing competitive things, So what we done was 60 metres, Shot put, Discus, and Long jump. First we done 60 Meters and I came 4th.

Then we done shot put and we had to go sit in a line when they called out our names, Then we go 1 by 1.

after that we had to sit down and wait for the others to finish. After all that we went to have a break time for 20 minutes I'm pretty sure. After our break we went to Discus and we had to line up in our year group and go 1 at a time like shot put. Then we had to sit under the trees and wait for others. We walked all the way to long jump which was at the back of the field. We had to go by our year group as well again. Then we had to go watch relays and Riroriro won.

 

                       Covid Alert Level 2

                    During The weekends My Family got a random alarm on our phones.

So when we looked and there was a long Notification saying that it was level 2, Which is stupid but it was all right. Cause i bought some masks and got 2 big bottles of hand sanitizer so Im good.
